IFOP Director attends Technology Centers and Institutes annual meeting

Leonardo Núñez, Executive IFOP Director, attended on Monday morning, November 27th, Centers and Technological Institutes annual Meeting in its third version, the activity is organized by Corfo and takes place at Las Condes Stadium.
On the occasion Núñez referred to IFOP work in the country fisheries and aquaculture research, innovative projects carried out by the Institute together with latest technology and equipment incorporated this year into IFOP laboratories. As well as the recently created Harmful Algal Studies Center (CREAN) that was originated as a result of CORFO granted support .
Núñez explained “this activity is quite important since it brings together International Excellence Centers directors, Technological Innovation Centers, Public Technological Institutes supported by Corfo and general community. It allows us to dialogue, show our achievements to our peers since all those who attend are researchers. During this year IFOP has made a series of advances to buy and renew scientific equipment that is considered important when conducting research improving the country’s scientific and technological capabilities “
