Caligus rogercresseyi is a marine ectoparasitic copepod that affects Chilean salmon farming. It parasitizes salmon’s skin, as well as several wild fish species, such as snook Eleginops maclovinus, the parasite natural reservoir, and silverside Odonthestes regia.
