Important advances in its institutional strengthening were made in 2016 by IFOP Fisheries Development Institute to consolidate itself as a high-level research entity

The program covers staff development and career development and scientifically the objective is to move towards the Ecosystemic Approach that will improve marine resources assessment and aquatic environment protection.

An innovative program to renew the operation and organizational structure launched the Institute for Fisheries Promotion IFOP

The ambitious program is aimed at achieving an 2.0 IFOP with better working conditions and quality of life for staff, salary reallocation and staff perspectives, which will strengthen the institute as an international research center.
