IFOP invites a workshop “State of the art of non-pharmacological treatment methods for Caligidosis, evaluation of its advantages and disadvantages and its possible applications in Chile”

Next Friday, January 14th, from 9:30 a.m., the workshop to present “State of the art of non-pharmacological treatment methods for Caligidosis, evaluation of its advantages and disadvantages and its possible applications in Chile ”research results, which was carried out by IFOP for Fisheries and Aquaculture Undersecretariat.

Given the subject’s importance and contingency, it is expected to have a large number of attendees from various fields, both from the productive sector, service companies, researchers and academics linked to work in Caligidosis.

Among novel and interesting results, a characterization of the non-pharmacological systems or products that are being used in Chile for the treatment of sea lice infestations in salmon farming will be presented, considering technical, environmental, economic and animal welfare background. among others.
