On November 13, the scientific vessel Abate Molina set sail from the Port of Valparaíso to investigate the current state of the anchovy population. The overall objective of the research cruise, led by fisheries engineer Francisco Leiva, is to conduct a coastal hydroacoustic survey in the Atacama Region to assess the anchovy stock present in the study area.
