Finally, Camilo Torres A., Head of IFOP’s Department of Economics and Statistics, emphasizes that the purpose of the Webinar Series is to increase communication with the community regarding the methodologies and/or results of the analyses and consulting services provided by the DEE, presenting this information in a clear, simple, and accessible way for all IFOP members and the general public. Therefore, the broad participation and active involvement of attendees is key to addressing and highlighting the value of the socioeconomic dimension and statistical advice in national fisheries and aquaculture management.
