IFOP activities were centered on educational community, teachers and general public that addressed the subject of garbage in oceans in the framework of ” Disposal and Capture of Incidental Fishing Program Research ” issued by Cristian Vargas Ávila, Fisheries Evaluation Department researcher. In parallel, a stand was set up to show fisheries resources monitoring programs to the public (spider crab, hedgehog, southern hake) and Red Tide, which IFOP develops in the Magallanes region, with the participation of Scientific Coordinator and Observer of the Department. of Sampling Management José Pérez Soto and Álvaro Medina Mayorga.
