Presenta pleotelson liso, con el extremo posterior ligeramente puntiagudo, y ur\u00f3podos anchos con \u00e1pices redondeados. Alcanza aproximadamente 4,5 mm de longitud (Menzies, 1962; Zagal &amp; Hermosilla, 2001).<\/p>\n<p><b>DISTRIBUCI\u00d3N<\/b><br \/>\nSe distribuye en Chile desde Iquique\/Arica hasta cabo de Hornos, aproximadamente entre 20\u00b0 y 54\u201356\u00b0S. Tambi\u00e9n ha sido registrada en las islas Malvinas\/Falkland y Sud\u00e1frica (Menzies, 1962; Lancellotti &amp; V\u00e1squez, 2002; Gonz\u00e1lez et al., 2008). <\/p>\n<p><b>H\u00c1BITAT<\/b><br \/>\nEspecie bent\u00f3nica litoral asociada principalmente a pozas intermareales con fondos de arena gruesa. Habita ambientes rocosos someros donde se acumula sedimento grueso dentro de las pozas de marea.
