Oval redondeado. Umbos casi centrales. Superficie con finas y apretadas estr\u00edas de crecimiento conc\u00e9ntricas. Periostraco lustroso. Mide alrededor de 3mm de longitud (Forcelli, 2000).<\/p>\n<p><b>DISTRIBUCI\u00d3N<\/b><br \/>\nEspecie de distribuci\u00f3n magall\u00e1nica, registrada en Chile desde isla Quenu, isla Chidguapi y el golfo de Ancud hasta el canal Beagle. Tambi\u00e9n se encuentra en Tierra del Fuego y las islas Malvinas\/Falkland (Soot-Ryen, 1959; Dell, 1964; Linse, 1999; Zelaya &amp; Ituarte, 2004).<\/p>\n<p><b>H\u00c1BITAT<\/b><br \/>\nBivalvo marino bent\u00f3nico de aguas fr\u00edas australes, asociado a ambientes submareales.
