Los bi\u00f3logos marinos de IFOP Antonio Aran\u00eds y Marcelo San Mart\u00edn fueron entrevistados ayer mi\u00e9rcoles 28 \u00a0<\/span>de agosto por el noticiero del canal 2 de San Antonio. En la oportunidad nuestros investigadores explicaron las posibles\u00a0 <\/span>razones de la permanencia de la ballena y su ballenato en Pelancura, San Antonio, los cet\u00e1ceos han permanecido en la zona durante 18 d\u00edas convirti\u00e9ndose en un atractivo tur\u00edstico.<\/p>\n

La Ballena pertenece \u00a0<\/span>al tipo Franca Austral, entre sus caracter\u00edsticas principales podemos mencionar su \u00a0<\/span>gran tama\u00f1o, las hembras pueden llegar a medir m\u00e1s de 17 m de largo, siendo un poco menores los machos. Su peso bordea las 45 toneladas aunque hay registros de captura que indican que las hembras pueden pesar m\u00e1s de 60 toneladas.<\/p>\n
