Once again the Fisheries Development Institute participated in the activities carried out in the City of Ays\u00e9n, highlighting its presentation, since the IFOP stand was one of the most visited.<\/p>\n

The IFOP exhibition included a tour in which the community was explained the work of our institution, the important work carried out by the Scientific Observers in IFOP, who are in charge of collecting data through sampling of the resources extracted throughout the country. In this way, the necessary information is obtained to carry out actions that help protect the resources of the sea.<\/p>\n

At the stand, visitors were able to learn about the marine resources of the Ays\u00e9n area, and all the work that IFOP is doing on harmful algal blooms commonly known as red tide and Didymosphenia geminata<\/i>, commonly called \u201cdidymo\u201d or \u201crock snot\u201d was shown.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
