They also got to know laboratories, command bridge, cabins, kitchen and they had a live  on field experience in  how to work on a scientific ship.<\/p>\n<p>Gonzalo Pereira, IFOP Executive Director explained &#8220;for us it is very important to receive these young people who are so motivated to work on the ship today, we signed an agreement with the Crew School, through which the students will be able to carry out their internships in this ship and in the next research ships that we have\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/visita-abate-4.jpg\" rel=\"trip\" rel=\"25894\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-25898 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/visita-abate-4-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/visita-abate-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/visita-abate-4-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/visita-abate-4-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/visita-abate-4-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Cesar Galleguillos, added &#8220;as a science professor at  Valpara\u00edso Crew and Port School, I feel that our institution and its students approach to scientific research world  carried out by IFOP through its vessel, allows us to approach and expand our maritime territory knowledge.
