At the ceremony, authorities were present, such as the Navy Commander-in-Chief, Admiral Julio Leiva; Defense Undersecretariat, Cristi\u00e1n de la Maza, the Japanese Ambassador in Chile, Shibuya Kazuhisa, participated in person, with Minister of Education Ra\u00fal Figueroa  virtual presence.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi.png\" rel=\"expo\" rel=\"23311\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-23314 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi-300x203.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi-300x203.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi-150x102.png 150w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi-1024x694.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi-120x80.png 120w, https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/jesi.png 1269w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>On Friday March 19th, was the Energy Efficiency and Marine Research Day, <strong>as speaker Dr. Jessica Bonicelli, IFOP oceanography and environment department senior researcher<\/strong>. In her presentation, entitled &#8220;Observing the ocean&#8221;, Dr. Bonicelli exposes the importance of the oceans, methodologies and equipment used to monitor spatial and environmental conditions temporal variability.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, it reveals some key aspects of the project <strong>&#8220;Interoperable Information System, which systematizes and integrates fishing, aquaculture and climate change data&#8221;, which is being developed by IFOP <\/strong>and whose objective is to make quality public data and information available scientific for medium and long-term decision-making.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is an unprecedented school project that seeks to deliver educational content to young people, in a playful and fun way, with the aim of contributing to their training as citizens of our country.
