{"id":12932,"date":"2016-05-30T09:47:34","date_gmt":"2016-05-30T13:47:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/?p=12932"},"modified":"2016-06-16T16:20:18","modified_gmt":"2016-06-16T20:20:18","slug":"instituto-de-fomento-pesquero-celebro-su-aniversario-52-con-diversas-actividades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ifop.cl\/en\/instituto-de-fomento-pesquero-celebro-su-aniversario-52-con-diversas-actividades\/","title":{"rendered":"Instituto de Fomento Pesquero celebrated its anniversary 52 with different activities"},"content":{"rendered":"The Instituto de Fomento Pesquero, IFOP, was created on 1964 by Corporaci\u00f3n de Fomento de la Producci\u00f3n (CORFO) and Sociedad Nacional de Pesca, by means of an international technical assistance project in fishing issues between United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).<\/p>\n<p>The strategic role of Instituto de Fomento Pesquero (IFOP) is based on the ability to generate, develop and transfer useful knowledge that will enable our country to position, in a competitive and sustainable way, in the field of aquaculture and fisheries, especially for its research of high public value.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Day of Research<\/strong>: May 26, in Palacio Cousi\u00f1o, Blanco 997 Valpara\u00edso, the day of the research was carried out. The objective of the activity was to enhance the institutional tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo N\u00fa\u00f1ez Montaner, Executive Director of IFOP, explained that the activity is \u201can occasion when IFOP shows its tasks to the scientific and governmental community.
